UEC Provider Scheduling Service
Allowing appointments to be
booked from NHS111 Telephony
and Online services.
WASP’s Provider Scheduling Service is a PAS/ED system agnostic scheduling service that provides facilities at a Provider site to allow appointments to be booked from NHS111 Telephony and Online services.
The Provider Schedules can be used for a wide range of services including Emergency Department (ED), Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC), Minor Injury Units (MIU), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) etc., and each service will have an “Expected Patient” screen that will display who has been booked/referred to the service together with any referral information for that patient.
The service is both Care Connect and Booking & Referral Standard (BaRS) compliant and significantly improves on the service offered by EDDI.
The service is also integrated with NHS Emergency Department Streaming Tool (EDST) to ensure all patients (Heralded and Unheralded) are managed through the same “Expected Patient” screen as that used by NHS111.
The UEC Provider Scheduling Service is integrated with the local PAS/ED system to manage patient searches and registration, automatically file all referral information against a specific encounter on the electronic Patient Record and manage DNAs.
